Growing up in Dorset and Germany, thanks to her father’s Army career, Catherine was raised on a steady diet of Little House on the Prairie, The Waltons, and Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman — and she’ll happily admit to a childhood crush on Charles Ingalls. A school trip to Corfe Castle sparked her first attempt at a historical story at the age of seven, which went on to win a small prize — and she’s been telling stories ever since.

Catherine writes the Walton Valley series, set in her fictional 1860s frontier community, where ordinary settlers face life’s trials, discover God’s grace, and find love in the most unexpected places. Her books include the free prequel novella His Wagon Train Sweetheart, along with Wagon Train Wife and The Preacher’s Unexpected Bride, with more Walton Valley stories on the way.
